If you want a nice scenic trail for a bike ride, avoid this trail. Today I tried to follow Google Map directions from Long Beach to Los Alamitos, and ended up riding across the river on the shoulder of Hwy 22, passing those "no bikes allowed on freeway" signs, and then had to lift my bike over a 6 foot high locked gate to get on the path.
